My wife, Yasmin Lowe, falls in love with my pet snake.
Every night, she claims she is too tired and refuses to let me touch her. In reality, she secretly climbs into the terrarium and spends intimate moments with the snake.
After she leaves on a two-day business trip, the snake's temperament changes drastically and it nearly bites my father to death.
Furious about this, he has the snake euthanized.
What no one expects is that while the snake dies by euthanasia, my entire family dies at Yasmin's hands.
"You killed the love of my life. All of you will go to hell with him!"
When I open my eyes again, I am back on my wedding night. Beside me, Yasmin quietly lifts the blanket.
I smile.
Euthanasia?
That would be letting them off far too easily.
Chapter 1
My wife, Yasmin Lowe, prepared lavish gifts for our wedding, and she treated my parents really well.
After marrying me, she replaced all the furniture with brand-new pieces and even bought a bigger terrarium for our pet snake.
It was big enough to fit a person inside.
My neighbor had been saying that I was truly blessed and that I had a good wife.
My mom, Susan York, would always say with a smile, "She cares about your pet because she loves you. She's taking such good care of your pet, so I think she'll also treat you well."
Before I was reborn, I firmly believed it and thought I was very lucky. As such, I wasn't really bothered when Yasmin resisted me in bed, even when I spotted some mysterious mucus in the terrarium.
Everything was fine until she went on a business trip for two days. The snake changed drastically and kept lashing its tail against the glass.
My parents went closer to it. It started flicking its tongue, raising its tail, and flashing its genitals at Mom. Then, a foul, fishy stench filled the air, and there was even a smear of mucus.
My parents couldn't help blushing. My dad, Jason Wood, pulled me aside and reminded me jokingly, "You and Yasmin had better control yourselves. Even your pet has picked up your bad habits."
A chill ran through my heart. Yasmin and I had never been intimate before.
Mom thought of taking the snake to a vet. As soon as she opened the terrarium, the snake swiftly crawled up her arm. It instantly crawled over Mom's back and toward her pants. Terrified, Mom broke down in tears.
Dad quickly threw it back into the terrarium. Left unsatisfied, the snake bit Dad.
"Why would a snake think of having sex with a human?" Dad shouted. Enraged, he had the snake euthanized.
…
Yasmin came back from the business trip and went into the room after knowing the snake had been euthanized.
Before Mom could react, Yasmin severed her head with a chainsaw and boiled it in a pot.
She kept stabbing me, leaving me in unbearable pain.
I cried as I spat out blood. "Why? I'm your husband!"
She forced Dad to eat what was in the pot, and she went on to chop my limbs off.
"Who the hell do you think you are? You guys killed my husband! I'm going to send all of you to hell with him!" she bellowed.
Only then did I understand why she would take care of the snake. What she loved was the snake.
My parents and I were tormented to death by her.
…
When I returned to the night of our wedding, I felt the urge to tear her to pieces. Suddenly, an idea crossed my mind, and I came up with a more vicious idea.
Yasmin, who pretended to be asleep, called my name. When I didn't react, she lifted the blanket and secretly went to the living room.
After a moment, I heard the sound of human skin rubbing against the glass, accompanied by Yasmin's moan of pleasure, and it disgusted me.
I cracked the door open and saw Yasmin holding the snake and murmuring intimate words under the moonlight.
The snake was excited as it wrapped around Yasmin's waist, flicking its tongue and trembling slightly. Even after they were done, the snake remained aroused and kept seducing Yasmin.
Yasmin's cheeks were rosy, her eyes full of affection. It was as if they were a real couple and could only meet each other at night because of me.
I flew into a rage and kicked the door open.
Chapter 2
Yasmin was startled, and her knees gave way. Staring at me, she stammered, "D-Dear, why aren't you asleep?"
A thought came into mind, and I yawned. "I woke up to go to the bathroom. What are you doing in the terrarium, darling?"
Then I paused, as if I just noticed them being entangled inside. I shouted anxiously, "You're scared of pain! What if the snake bites you? Darling, come out now!"
The noise woke my parents up.
I quickly opened the door to call for help. "Is there anyone who can catch a snake? My wife has been bitten!"
The veins in Yasmin's forehead bulged. She flung the snake away and dashed forward to stop me. "Christopher Wood, are you crazy? I was just sleepwalking!"
I pretended to look relieved. "It's good that you're fine. I was terrified."
Yasmin held herself back and went back to the room furiously.
She had been scared when she was almost at the height of pleasure. I wondered if she could still relive the moment.
I stood next to the terrarium.
Having been interrupted, the snake flicked its tongue at me. It opened its mouth and spat venom on the glass as a warning. The liquids in the terrarium began to mix.
I frowned in disgust. I had been caring for the snake for three years, but it was simply heartless.
Animals would always be true to their nature.
…
The next morning, I brought some fruit baskets to apologize to my neighbors for disturbing them last night.
"My wife really loves my pet snake," I said. "She even needs to hold it to sleep. The snake leans on her back, as if she were its mother."
Strange expressions crept across my neighbors' faces.
I quickly explained, "I was just joking. She was sleepwalking and accidentally got into the terrarium. The sight terrified me."
Looking awkward, they exchanged glances. "It's good that she's fine."
"Not only is she fine, but she even seems more energetic!" I said.
While Yasmin was at work, I told my parents the truth. I confessed everything without hesitation.
Mom was so furious that color drained from her face. "What a bastard! How could she do something so disgusting?"
I comforted her and said, "Calm down. For now, we should get the assets notarized and make her return the house and car I bought!"
My parents' faces fell.
Yasmin was a property agent. She was honest and sincere before we got married. Moved by her, we bought about three properties under her company.
Yasmin had made a lot of money from that.
I paid for the houses and car, but they were registered under her name. I had to give her half of the assets even if we got a divorce.
At that thought, Dad pounded his chest in anger. "How ungrateful!"
I was a decisive person. After Yasmin got off work, I began talking about the pet snake.
"Darling, I see that you really dote on our snake. Mom went to a fortune teller today, and he said we have to send the snake away if we want a baby. If not, we'll have a hard time conceiving."
Yasmin's face darkened. "That's all just superstition! I don't believe in it!"
Mom came over and began playing the bad cop. "I didn't bother about the date you got married. But you have been having a hard time conceiving because of the snake! The snake needs to go!"
I spread my arms helplessly and sighed. "Well, I've put it up on the internet. If no one is adopting it, I'll have it euthanized."
"Euthanized?" Yasmin's lips trembled. "How much did you put it up for?"
I said calmly, "One million dollars."
Yasmin widened her eyes. "Are you out of your mind? How could a snake be worth one million dollars?"
"I've spent a lot on the snake all these years. I need to include those expenses," I replied. With a sigh, I added, "I've been taking care of it for so many years. If it dies, I'm gonna be sad for a long time. I have no choice. I really hope it can be our child in its next life."
Yasmin panicked. "That's bullshit!"
I wiped the corners of my eyes. "Darling, why are you overreacting?"
Yasmin's face paled, her eyes darting around. "There'll definitely be someone kind enough to adopt it."
With that, she dashed into the bedroom.
After a while, a message from an anonymous account popped up on my phone. "Hi, how much is this pet snake?"
Chapter 3
I asked for an astronomical amount right away. "Two million dollars."
I had asked for this amount because I knew Yasmin had made a lot of money through my parents. I would make her return everything she had taken from me.
The door handle of the bedroom turned slightly, then sprang back. I knew Yasmin wanted to come out and question me, but she was worried that I might discover the truth.
In the end, Yasmin gave in and transferred the money to my account. Worried that she would change her mind, I even signed a contract.
I finally felt relieved after receiving the two million dollars.
After that, the snake was sent away.
I should be working on filing for divorce, and I would take my time to seek revenge. But later, Mom caught the flu and fell sick, and Dad suddenly had a stroke.
I also realized that my health was deteriorating. I slept longer than I usually did, and I was too exhausted to do anything.
I couldn't take it anymore, so I went to a fortune teller. He gave me a secretive look and said, "Your family has offended a supernatural presence, and there's also a mole in your household. I'm not going to get involved in this matter, but I have to remind you to be careful of your partner."
I forced Yasmin to stay home for two days. I wanted to know where she hid the snake and what she had been doing.
On the third day, she couldn't hold herself back anymore. Her face was flushed red during the day, and she often went into the bathroom with a cucumber.
That night, she secretly got up and dashed out without wearing her bra.
I gulped down a cup of coffee and trailed behind her quietly.
Yasmin drove to a house on the outskirts.
I heard that people kept urns in the houses in this neighborhood, and many of them practiced black magic. I wondered why Yasmin would keep the snake here.
She opened the door. Her face was flushed red when she rushed in and removed her clothes.
Seeing her, the snake raised its tail and flashed its genitals. Soon, they wrapped their bodies around each other again.
Yasmin started moving on her own and exclaimed, "Honey… Honey!"
The snake shook excitedly. Its heart was pounding, and it was overwhelmed with an intense wave of pleasure.
Soon, Yasmin felt a rush of pleasure and let out a moan.
But I knew they would do it again and again until the floor was slick with mucus and the air filled with a foul stench.
They held each other, murmuring in low voices. I put up with how disgusting everything was and went closer to eavesdrop on their conversation.
Holding the snake, Yasmin said to it as if it were a human, "Honey, bear with this a bit longer. Our plan will succeed soon! That jerk Christopher is dying. By then, I'll give his body to you, and all his money will be ours."
The snake pressed its cold scales against her.
Yasmin blushed instantly. "Don't worry. As long as I still have the emerald I gave him, I can swap your bodies at any time. He's an idiot. I told him that my late parents gave the emerald to me, and he really treasures it!"
The snake kept rubbing its scales against her skin.
Yasmin moaned in satisfaction and said impatiently, "Although he's dying, he's still highly alert. Once I get the chance to bring him and the emerald here, we will proceed with our plan."
If I came here with the emerald, I would vanish forever.
I stared at the emerald resting on my chest and felt somewhat uneasy. I stepped back subconsciously and accidentally kicked the railing. A sharp clank rang out.
The snake's crimson eyes shifted instantly.
Yasmin shot to her feet and asked, "Who's there?"
